Cookie Policy
Big Head Consulting LLC
Effective Date: May 25, 2026
Last Updated: May 25, 2026
1. About This Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Big Head Consulting LLC ("we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on bigheadconsulting.ai (the "Site"). It works alongside our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
By using the Site, you consent to our use of cookies as described here. You can change your preferences at any time (see Section 5).
2. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device (computer, phone, or tablet) when you visit. They're widely used to make websites work, work more efficiently, and provide information to the site owner.
We also use related technologies — such as local storage, session storage, web beacons, and pixel tags — for similar purposes. In this policy, the word "cookies" refers to all of these together.
Cookies can be first-party (set by us, on our domain) or third-party (set by other services we use, on their domains). They can also be session cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent cookies (stored until they expire or you delete them).
3. Cookies We Use
We aim to use cookies sparingly. As of the effective date of this policy, the cookies and similar technologies used on the Site fall into the following categories.
3.1 Strictly Necessary
These cookies are required for the Site to function and cannot be turned off in our system. They are typically set in response to actions you take, such as submitting a form. They do not store any personally identifiable information.
| Purpose | Examples | Type |
|---|---|---|
| Session management for the intake assessment tool | Session storage to keep your form data while you're filling it out | First-party, session |
| Security and fraud prevention | Anti-CSRF tokens | First-party, session |
| Recording your cookie preferences | Persistent local storage flag for cookie banner state | First-party, persistent |
3.2 Analytics and Performance
These cookies help us understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it. We aim to use privacy-respecting analytics that do not track individuals across the web.
| Purpose | Examples | Type |
|---|---|---|
| Aggregate visitor analytics (page views, referrers, performance) | Provided by our hosting provider (Vercel Analytics or similar) | First-party or third-party, persistent |
Analytics services may set their own cookies. We do not currently use third-party advertising trackers, social media trackers, or cross-site profiling cookies.
3.3 What We Do NOT Use
We do not currently use:
- Advertising cookies or cross-site tracking pixels
- Social media share button trackers (Facebook, X/Twitter, LinkedIn)
- Affiliate marketing cookies
- Profiling cookies for behavioral targeting
- Cookies for cross-context behavioral advertising
If we add any of the above in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.
4. A Note on Accuracy
The exact list of cookies set on any given visit depends on our hosting provider's current configuration and any third-party services active at that time. We aim to keep this policy current, but the operational reality may sometimes outpace this document.
If you would like a current technical inventory of cookies set on your most recent visit, contact us using the information in Section 7, and we will provide what we can.
5. How to Control Cookies
You have several options for controlling cookies.
5.1 Cookie Banner
When you first visit the Site, you will see a cookie consent banner. You can:
- Accept all cookies
- Reject non-essential cookies (analytics will be disabled, but strictly necessary cookies will continue to function)
- Customize your preferences
You can change your preferences at any time by clicking the cookie preferences link in our Site footer.
5.2 Browser Settings
Most browsers let you view, manage, delete, and block cookies through settings. Your browser may also support "Do Not Track" signals, although there is no industry-wide standard for how websites should respond. We do not currently respond to Do Not Track signals because of the lack of a consistent standard, but we do honor cookie preferences you set through our banner.

5.3 Effect of Blocking Cookies
If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the Site may not work correctly (for example, the intake assessment tool may not save your progress). If you block analytics cookies, the Site will work normally, but we won't have visibility into how it's being used.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, our practices, or applicable law. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top. Material changes will be communicated through a banner on the Site or, where appropriate, by email.
